May It Be – The birth of Jesus

Mary was a young girl who was pledged and chosen to be married to a man named Joseph. She had never been intimate with a man; she was a virgin.

One day the angel Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God (Luke 1:19), appears to Mary and gives her a word from God. Mary is told that she will conceive a child by the Holy Spirit--and that child will be the Messiah!

Now remember, first Mary is seeing and hearing an angel. Then, this angel tells her she will carry The Messiah for Israel and all of mankind, and she is a virgin! Mary questions how this could happen and then does an extraordinary and important thing: she accepts The Word and says, "May it be to me as you have said."

Young Mary decided that she would believe and agree with The Word she heard, and she sealed it in faith and history by speaking that she received it! Mary had to speak by faith that she would receive The Word, carry The Word, and birth The Word given to her.

Mary lived in a culture that if an unmarried woman was found to be with child, she could be stoned to death by law. She would have to face her Jewish family and neighbors that were totally against what appeared to be--that Mary had been sexually promiscuous.

And Mary also had Joseph; what would he think of her? As a holy man, he would not want her anymore, for it looked as though Mary had been with another. Try explaining being pregnant without being sexually active! Who would believe you?

Yet with all that was against Mary, she did what God wants us to do today--receive what He has said, believe it and speak that it is happening to you! God needed Mary to believe what His messenger told her. She and Joseph were destined to be the earthly parents of Jesus.

Mary had a decision that day. She decided to not let the circumstances and conditions that surrounded her make her decision for her. Mary got pregnant with the Word of God that was told to her. And The Word (Jesus) became flesh and dwelt among them, and still is today! (John 1:14)

You and I must believe and receive The Word of God concerning us! Let it grow in us and then finally birth in the flesh, in the natural, what is spoken. Friends, receive, believe and speak what has been spoken and promised to you! Even if your body, your doctor, and everyone around you is screaming, "that is impossible!" Remember, God will even do something that has never existed before to keep his Word--even make a virgin pregnant!

Always remember Mary and what she faced--the opposition, ridicule, conflict and pressure. Think about the impossible thoughts she had to overcome that her body would even do what God said it would do! Defeat the enemy every time when he lies to you and tells you that God and His Word are not working for you.

Nothing is impossible with God. Absolutely nothing!

Say it out loud with confidence no matter what it looks like: "May it be to me as you have said."

I hope you might enjoy reading it --- inspirational story.

Here are some of the Email messages that I managed to gather last weekend.. I hope you might as well enjoy reading it.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE BODY

My mother used to ask me, "What is the most important part of the body?" Through the years, I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer. When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, "My ears, Mommy." She said, "No. Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon." Several years passed before she asked me again. This time I told her, "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes." She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind." Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge. Over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was,....
"No, but you are getting smarter every year, my child." Then last year, my grandpa died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry. My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to Grandpa. She asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?" I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was some type of game between us. She saw the confusion on my face and told me, "This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. "Today is the day you need to learn this important lesson." She looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "The most important body part is your shoulder." I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head?" She replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. "Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it." Then and there, I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is sympathetic to the pain of others. People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.

                                                                THE EAGLE

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm. When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them. The Bible says, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles." Isaiah 40:31 Just one more spices... WAS IT THE COFFEE YOU WANTED? A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups--porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal; some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite--telling them to help themselves to the coffee. When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. "What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups and were eyeing each other's cups. "Now consider this: Life is the coffee, and the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and do not change the quality of Life. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided. "So, don't let the cups drive you .... enjoy the coffee instead."

Seeing with a child's eye

When I look at a patch of dandelions, I see a bunch of weeds that are going to take over my yard. My kids see flowers for Mom and blowing white fluff you can wish on.

When I look at an old drunk and he smiles at me, I see a smelly, dirty person who probably wants money and I look away.
My kids see someone smiling at them and they smile back.

When I hear music I love, I know I can't carry a tune and don't have much rhythm so I sit self-consciously and listen. My kids feel the beat and move to it. They sing out the words. If they don't    know them, they make up their own.

When I feel wind on my face, I brace myself against it. I feel it messing up my hair and pulling me back when I walk. My kids close their eyes, spread their arms and fly with it, until they fall to the ground laughing.

When I pray, I say thee and thou and grant me this, give me that etc. My kids say, "Hi God! Thanks for my toys and my friends. Please keep the bad dreams away tonight. Sorry, I don't want to go to Heaven yet. I would miss my Mommy and Daddy."

When I see a mud puddle I step around it. I see muddy shoes and dirty carpets. My kids sit in it. They see dams to build, rivers to cross and worms to play with.

I wonder if we are given kids to teach or to learn from?
No wonder God says that unless we become like little children, we shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Fuss in religion

There are different people of different types following different religions in the world.People follow different religion with different aspects of beliefs and faith. Each of religion adores and adopt its own religion, spread the good news of human love, respects and godliness among people. Everyone have belief and faith about their own religion. They have the belief and the confidence that the religion they follows is the TRUE one..In fact every religion teaches the way of truth and the relationship with God.

Unfortunately there are people who misled others in the name of religion.Religion has created so many problems ,envy ,enmity and hatred among one another. What  may be the reason??Yup everyone knows the answer.

Once i saw a link in my facebook wall, and when i go through it ,it was totally absurd seeing the descriptions and the comments about the topic "SCIENTIFIC PROOF OF JESUS CHRIST BECOMING HINDU AND HIS DEATH IN".Ufff :-( how can they itscientific proof..Hmm I thought to myself, "is this the real way to bring the unbeliever into the particular beliefs(ie religion)"?? No way this cannot be the way .And no religion teaches such a way. India is a secular states, Everyone has the right to follow in his/her own belief. And I hope no religion teaches "criticism".
I have also come across a hindu book ,"The Krishna conciousness". It is somewhat irkward and baseless .The contents of the book doesn't patch  up with the title. Once you read it and you'll know..It is not the way one teaches a religion. The book simply is all about criticizing Jesus Christ and His believers. Where is the krishna conciosness?? The book is all about criticism and comparision. Its all about childish mentality. I wanted to say to the author "What do you  know about JESUS"???

When you really think your religion is true and that your god is the true god ,then what is the used of talking about others."If you think you are true, then prove yourself you are true;Proving others false, cannot make you the TRUE".

Their maintainance in the Unity in Diversity is the most thought provoking and encourageable discipline they maintain.

Playing and bunking is not the only activity they follow. But also organising a trip or a picnic is a must followed discipline every once or twice of every semester.
